this is another one of my "drive by" shots where my husband leaves me on the side of the road and drives by while I take pictures. You just have to be very careful of dust in your camera!
This one is on the road to Windjana Gorge in the Kimberley, north of Western Australia. That is a boab tree on the RHS.

Just discovered this photo again while doing another post - so here is another road shot -
this one was taken at El Questro Wilderness Park in the Kimberly region of Western Australia's north west. This is actually a road, or a track, down a creek line - the track was very rocky underneath. The photo is a little wonky because we were driving at the time and this is taken through the front windscreen and I am trying desperately to keep the camera straight and not bang my head on the side of the car!
If you want you can check out the rest of the thread here - Week 39/52-Tour Downunder West Australia - ElQuestro - gorges, palms and thermal pools

great shots everyone - thanks for contributing. Funny story about the fire hydrant jsherp.
Here is another from me - this is a road in our wheatbelt - where the crops are suffering badly this yer because of the drought. I love these trees that line the roads and are in pockets of nature reserves throughtout the wheatbelt.
