Default What What Would you Do #144

Rules are simple. Edit this image in anyway that you see fit, all you have to do is post the steps you took to achieve your final product. Its a neat way to see what other people have done and learn from their steps and to also improve your own processing skills.

Here is one I took last week. Slightly out of focus and the view leaves something to be desired. lol. Lets see what you guys can do with it

Cropped, messed with level a bit, selected the larger of the two animals and scaled him down to make "him" look like a "her", cloned in around the "her" to fill the dead space created by the scaling, opened a new blank layer and put in text for her, Opened another transparent layer and put it under the text layer, created a circle around text and added the tail at the bottom using the free select tool, filled with white, turned selection to border and filled with black, merged speech bubble and text layer together, repeated those steps for the poor guy who's about to be dumped, enlarged the height of the canvas, created a new black layer and placed it on the bottom, added Urban Dictionary text, flattened.

Hope you got at least a little giggle!

what would you do 143

selected the middle images and copied in another layer, with free transform, adjusted the size, added layer mask to clean the edges to blend with bg. did the same to the left group and flipped horizontally and adjusted size and placed it to the right. dragged an image of picket fence and adjusted size and with layer mask removed original bg of fence. duplicated fence to make it longer. on another layer, painted white text bubble and reduced the opacity. typed the text and placed it on the bubble. flattenned.

Default Deer Tourists

What Would You Do #143

I decided to kill two birds with one stone and combine both What Would You #143's into one image.

In Paint Shop Pro:
 • Used the park photo as a background.
 • Added the deer photo as a new layer and erased the background.
 • Adjusted the sizes and positions of the deer.
 • Added some shadows under the deer.
 • Merged the image, cropped, and adjusted brightness contrast.
 • Duplicated the image, applied Gaussian blur, then masked so the blur only affected the outer parts of the image.
 • Merged then copied the image on a new layer, and applied the Find All edge effect.
 • Copied the original image on a new layer, set blend to Darken, and adjusted opacity.
 • Copied the original image again, set blend to Overlay, and adjusted opacity.
 • Copied the edge layer, set blend to Multiply, and adjusted opacity.
 • Copied the unblurred image to a new layer, set blend to Soft Light, and adjusted opacity.
 • Merged the image.
 • Applied the Salt & Pepper noise adjustment.
 • Applied the Brush Strokes art media effect.
 • Applied the Median Filter noise reduction adjustment.
 • Sharpened the image.

No, not at all! It's a learning experience, and lots of fun. You just do what you want to the picture and tell everyone what you did.
