Challenge.. Tattoo you
Ok. I love tattoos nearly as much as my wife, kids and my D80. I would like you guys to get a nice shot of a tattoo, be it yours, a friend's or a complete stranger's. Contrary to popular belief ink freaks like myself are usually more social than your average Joe.
Now Tattoo doesn't just mean fresh up to date ink. I'd like to see some shots of the old veterans tattoos that are blue and faded into the life lines that they earned. I want to see the silly tattoo your mum got in 1976 confessing her undying love for a musician we don't even remember. I want the good the bad and the ugly. Even shots of you getting your ink ( with permission of your inkslinger. Until its on the skin and you are out the door that puppy is copyright material of the artist) Get creative. as long as it has a tattoo on a subjects skin somewhere in the deal its all good. I am a tattoo freak myself. I don't have any good photos of mine yet, but here is one I caught on an outing at the NC Zoo one day. I thought it was quite good!

Oooooooh I love the idea of this thread. I have two tats (3rd coming soon) but like Luke have been unable to get any decent pics of them yet. Gotta figure something out and post!

When I get to the tattoo shop tomorrow, I'll see if I can find the pictures of both of my artists tattooing me at the same time

I have had this, Lady of the Lake thing on my mind for quite some time, so I thought I would do a composite, with a play on that theme, to show part of my sleeve. I had to restart the edit 3 times because my computer kept taking a crap on me. So please don't mind the artifacts I left behind. I know they are there.

A good friend of mine got married last year, so of course I took my camera. I didn't specifically take pictures of her tattoos but here is the bride in all her happy splendor and yes, she is wearing a black dress. The wedding had a dawn of the dead theme.

ooh i could actually fill up a whole page ( covered in tattoos LOL) Ive been wanting to do a "suicide girls" type shot of my work for some time... maybe this will be a good reason to finally do it haha. Here's some (not that great..blame my husband he took them xD) pics of my 2 personal favorites though
my all time favorite, done for my children ^^  and my second favorite, our version of a wedding ring as my husband can't wear his due to his job ( hands frequently inside a jet LOL) so we both have this one in almost the same spot
