Default What Would You Do? 140

Here is one of my older photos for you to play with.
As always the rules remain the same. Make any changes you want. Change the colors, put in another object, delete an object, warp it, fix it, anything. All you need to do is be sure to post the steps you took to arrive at your final edit.

The more you play, the more you learn you learn. The more you learn, the more you teach someone else. Have fun!

WHAT WOULD YOU DO #140 blue

i used color range to select the grays then entered quick mask and fine tuned the selection. exited quckmask, pressed ctrl/H to hide the selection and used color balance to change the color. then used hue and saturation for further adjustments and deselected next, using quickmask, i selected the background trees and changed the color to slightly green. i added images of park benches and with layer mask i dropped out the excess images and adjusted their positions and sizes. added some shadows under the park benches.. flattenned and saved.

What Would You Do #140

I tried to create a pencil sketch effect for this image.

In Paint Shop Pro:
  • Cropped and resized original image.
  • Used Scratch Remover and Clone Brush to remove power line in background.
  • Duplicated the original image on a new layer, applied Gaussian Blur, and set to Difference.
  • Copied the merged image, pasted as a new layer, then deleted the blurred layer.
  • Inverted the new layer and adjusted brightness/contrast.
  • Applied the Brush Strokes effect.
  • Added two copies of the original on new layers, set one layer to Hard Light, the other to Burn, and adjusted opacities.
  • Merged the image.
  • Duplicated the image on a new layer, applied a canvas texture, adjusted layer opacity, and merged.
  • Applied mild Sepia Toning.
  • Added a rough edged picture frame, set to Luminance, and adjusted opacity.
  • Added a copy of the original image on a new layer at a very low opacity.
  • Added a border.

wwyf

For this I used 4 different textures, each copied on as a new layer. Each layer had a separate blend mode. Most were set at overlay, soft light or multiply. After I found a look i liked, i copied the bottom layer (original photo) and copy and pasted as a new layer on top of allt he others. Played around with the blend modea again until I found one i liked. I think it was soft light.

what would you do 140

another one, i use threshold to remove the grays. i added noise and increased the contrast. then i applied filter, stylize, trace contour. then i applied texture, cracquelure to breakup the image and give it a slight embossed effect. i selected the ground and used color balance to give it some color. i selected the sky and with color balance added the blue color. i then used a rough broush and varyinf the size and opacity, i clicked on the leaves of the trees, slightly yellow color to give it some highlights. used hue and saturation for further adjustment of color.
