Default What Would You Do #136

This weeks image for us manipulate is from Athas_orm. Thank you for allowing us to play!
Let's see what you would do!
As always, the rules are simple, edit this in any way you like. The only stipulation is that you must post the steps you took to arrive at the final version

tunnel

I'm hoping this link works to the larger version

What Would You Do #136

I didn't have anything specific in mind for this one.

In Paint Shop Pro:
  • Used the Perspective Correction tool to adjust the perspective slightly.
  • Created a duplicate of the image, adjusted the levels to lighten the tunnel area, then created a mask to hide the area outside the tunnel.
  • Adjusted layer opacity and merged the image.
  • Cropped the image.
  • Add two copies of the image layer, applied different levels of Zoom Radial Blur, then adjusted layer opacities.
  • Added another copy of the original image layer, set to Overlay.
  • Copied the merged layers and pasted as a new layer, converted to black & white, and adjusted layer opacity.
  • Added a levels adjustment layer and refined the contrast.
After finishing, I realized it would look better if the zoom blur was centered on the pedestrian in the background, so I started over and repeated the above steps.

Default R2d2

ARCH copy
i copied the straight, front gray tiles and made it a little curved and placed it on top of the tiles i selected the legs of r2d2 from an illustration and dragged it to the image and using free transform i adjusted the size and placed it at the sides of the arch. flattened and voila, R2D2

Default atlantis

ATLANTIS
i double clicked the image to make layer 0. i selected the the buildings and and pressed ctrl. shift J to cut the buildings and put it in another layer making the arch portion transparent.
selected the arch and adjusted the with layers to show a little more detail and adjusted the color making it bluish. i got an underwater shot of the manta rays and placed it between the layers of the buildings and the arch. selected the manta rays and the school of fish and put it in another layer so that when i change the opacity of the blue water, the mantas and the fishes will remain opaque. i duplicated the bldg layer and set the blending mode to multiply to darken and show more details. i put some color in the pool of water in the arch. and flattenned it.

Hope you don't mind I had a go.

tunnel blood

Basically I drew a red patch blended that in with the origional photograph.

Decreased the brightness increased the contrast. Lowered the color temperature.

Then Use higlight shadow and midtone to remove all shadow detail from the background . Blended in with origioanl photo. Drew some fog badly duplicated on three layers and selectivly erased.

Same as last time, no picture....but this time I had a chance to see what it said. My post will not be visible until a moderator approves it. No problem with straight text, but it doesn't like my picture.

I never had this problem when I 1st joined this forum.
