This weeks submission is from my kurtwall. Thank you so much for sending this, looks like its gonne be a fun one to edit!.

As always, the rules are simple. Edit the image in anyway that you see fit. BUT, you have to post the steps that you took to get to your final product.

Let's see what you would do!

went to he and saturation to change the color bluish and added a little contrast. i added a new layer where i painted with a soft brush the streaks and used layermask to remove portions to reveal some of the trees on the right. added the headless horseman between the layers and flattened

Adjusted brightness and contrast brightness -20 contrast 30
boosted saturation
Adjusted midtones -97 shadow -100 hilight -28
dropped color temperature
Duplicated layer.
Used edge effect erode on new layer.
Applied Gaussian blur to new layer radius 2
changed blend mode to Luminance (L)
Adjusted brightness and contrast. 18 and 19
Desaturated the reds saturated the blues.
Applied soften and high pass sharpen to the image (more painting less photograph)
Applied unsharp mask.
ran clarify to bring some detail back.

Converted to black and white. tone mapped. added fog by using Alien Skin smoke and then changed the blend mode to overlay. (added some depth but not really fog) added a vingette. Used the pick tool and drew a circle around the lighted area at the end of the road. feathered the edges by 40 pixels. flood dilled with white and then added a gaussian blur set at 45. lowered opacity and then erased the area by the middle tree. and done

sorry had to do another one. Using the same image as above I used the feedback effect in PSP and played with settings until I found what I liked. Then erased and cloned out areas I wanted to change
