Fuji finepix S1800

Has anyone used the Fuji Finepix S1800? Just wondering what your experience has been with it. I recently purchased one and am not unhappy, but not totally geeked either. I was hoping for more manual controls than my old Finepix E550. I would be ever so grateful to anyone who can offer some insight about this camera.

Hello how are you doing? Well I don't really know about your s1800. I do know that it's a step about my s1500. I love my camera. I thought it was more along the lines of a DSLR but it's more automatic than I would have liked. It does take great pictures. I think I am basically using it as a beginner photographer until I can get an DSLR. Your camera is supposed to be along the lines of a DSLR.

yes i have a fuji s1800 and the only thing is...that there are so many things the camera can do it's hard to remember where they all are when you want to use them...i do see a lot of people say that they are un happy with the pictures that they take with it...i don't find that...i love it...but i think that these people including the testers didn't spend a lot of time with this camera...case in point...
