Default Hi am thinking of Buying Fuji Film FinePix S1600 / 12 Megapixel / 15x Optical Zoom /

Fuji Film FinePix S1600 / 12 Megapixel / 15x Optical Zoom / 3.0 inch LCD

I am new too photography even though I have had a digital camera for ages Samsung P800, but want too get into it a lot more seriously so am thinking of buying the camera above, can you please give me your views on this camera, price on line is £129.99 GBP

The specs look good and Fuji is a good make. The only thing you might want is a proper viewfinder but there are no cameras in this price bracket that have that. Is that your maximum budget?

my budget is around £160 and if i get the money maybe £200. just depends on funds really

For £160 you could go for the S1900 instead, slightly better specs.

Hi mate been browsing around and found this Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12MP Digital Camera with 28mm Lens. for £159.99 which should fall within my budget. good times ..

If its in your price range I would go either for the S2500 or the older brother of that camera (and the one I own) S2800HD. 14 megapixels, 18x optical zoom, great manual options. But of course its not an SLR, unfortunatly. But in my opinion takes just as good pictures. I got mine on Amazon for $180 I think.
