  • Yes that's very good.
And that last one is a beautiful shot ... good for you.
Quite a few people like to shoot the moon, but something that I have never done, as I don't have a long enough Lens.

I can remember a few years back on another Forum this woman had a Star gazzing neighbour next door with a 10 inch telescope.
Ha! I don't mean 10" long I mean a 10" mirror, with a step ladder to climb up, and her little point and shoot Camera just happened to fit over the eye piece nicely, so she was able to take some wonderful pictures, which amazed all of us.

    How lucky for her?

      • Those shots are absolutely incredible. I tried a couple moon shots but knew I had something way off, must have been that I didn't underexpose. Not sure but your making me want to give it another go.
Great work and thanks for the tutorial.

        • Here is what I ended up with on supermoon night. Take into account I've had my first DSLR for two months now, and only starting to understand exposure haha Bit of saturation, contrast and brightness ajustements, but nothing much. I'll try again on the next one in two weeks for sure, with a tripod this time!

            • September Moon

Took this shot yesterday. I have made many attempts to get a perfect or close to perfect shot...and seldom succeeded. but this is decent enough to share I guess, atlast. Hand held @ the max zoom, 300mm.
f/14, 1/100 @ ISO 100. No processing of any kind. SOOC.

I had the same daytime moon this morning driving to work and was kicking myself for not having my camera with me! Nice shot.
