I would say you have a variety of things going on, some look great, however some do look a tad dark, and a lot of the indoor ones look very orange, like your white balance could have been adjusted a little better, and yes I found some of the compositions odd myself.

I did struggle with white balance...particularly during the ceremony as the lighting in the church was awful. After spending quite a bit of time in light room trying to fix that I am definitely going to start shooting weddings in RAW. I was going to shoot in RAW that day but got nervous that I didn't have enough memory cards with me so I just shot JPG.

oh i wish you couldve done RAW on these!! there were some really good ones in there, im not really an expert on any of this stuff, but just looking at them they seemed pretty good, maybe some were a little dark, there was a couple of indoor shots were the white balance was kinda screwy, background looked really warm and the subject was cool (like kind of blueish type tinge if that makes since) but overall pretty good, definitely dont think the ALL need to be re done, or that even most of them do, maybe a select few but overall looks pretty good to me just my 2 cents though

i agree with Osmosis.. it does set a mood.

but i prefer "lighter" images, should be easy with no noise on a D300

my biggest problem is your framing, its very obvious that in many of your images you have simply used the centre focus point.. so your subjects face is dead center, tons of space above them, and you've cut their hands off. (particularly the groomsmen)

focus and recompose, or use your focus points more.

other than that.. there are some beautiful images there/
Good observation....I think a couple rookie mistakes to blame for the framing issues.
1,) Nerves! At the time this was only the second wedding I had done and I was asked to go solo and shoot the groomsen before the ceremony. I am still working on that inner voice that says "relax and breathe!!"

2.) Lens. I learned on my very first wedding that my 18-200 is nowhere near adequate for weddings so I rented a 70-200 2.8. I figured when I rented it that this was the best choice since I was mainly hired to shoot candids and this lens would let me stay out of peoples way. Awesome lens but many times I found it too tight and that I needed a much wider lens. Many times through out the day I just couldn't seem to get back far enough to frame everything well hence most shots being dead center. I normally do try to use multiple focus points and keep away from the center.

Actually I have close to 400 edited shots that we will be giving to the client. I have since gone back and cropped many of the images you saw on flickr. At the time I just put a sampling of images on my photostream to show to some friends.

Thanks again ....I am getting some really constructive input and it will definitely help me in the future!

The exposure looked fine on my laptop, but a little under on my editing machine. Nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of PP - even easier had you shot RAW

There are some beautiful shots in the slideshow that I'm sure the happy couple would have been thrilled with. Composition wise - again, a bit of cropping here are there to put the subject off-centre might improve some of them.

On the plus side, I've learnt that cowboy boots with a wedding dress is a damnnn sexy combination
