Default Large Family photo shoot contract.

I have a large family photography session Sunday. Should I sit there and have every single member sign a group contract? Like take my normal contract withe model release and just ad say 20 signature parts. Or just have the person who asked me to do the shoot sign the contract for the shoot?

with my contracts i only use one signature, the person who hired me. it states that they are taking responsibility to make sure it is ok with everyone in the group.

Can you pm me a example of your contract? I only have one for single portraits which is what I normally do.

I have no idea how to PM it to you so here is the copy and pasted section of my model release. The person will fill in their name and then sign. If there is someone who does not want to agree to this i will write it at the bottom of the contract and have them sign and then give them a photo copy of the contact for them to keep aswell if they are not the purchaser of the session. That way if they are not in some pictures i still have rights to use those and will not use any from the non-agreeing parties. I have only had this happen to me once. Most people are pretty cool with using their pictures. This is the last of my liabilities on my contract. If you have any other questions feel free to email me directly at jade.photo@hotmail.com

Default What is the contract for?

What are you getting signatures for...a release? If you are getting financial contracts you would definately want something from each person. For a release, just a general agreement will do. My .02? Contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on these days. We shoot 50,000 kids per year and I have yet to sue someone over breaking a contract, and I deal with leagues and schools.

On the last page it says "Parent of Guardian". Shouldn't it be "or"

Under images and copy right "The" should be capitalized

same section there is a misplaced comma after may not be copied

same section there is a random acpital W on the word Which which is in the middle of a sentence

also at the signature line it should be (other (if applicable)) and (parent of gaurdian (if applicable))

Other wise it looks pretty good....
