I used Kodak gallery for a few years for personal shots, and switched to Mpix/Zenfolio recently, and I like it a lot.

Kodak gallery just started offering pro quality paper, and redesigned the site to cater to more pro photographers or aspiring customers. I did get a few sample prints from there, and the quality was very good - however, it is pricier than Mpix (not sure how it compares to Mpx pro). Kodak has a great range of products beyond prints though, I will continue using them for things like xmas cards and personalized gifts.

On a side note, I hate Snapfish.. I got a gift card for use there, and decided that the only way I'd use it is for free. It's my pet peeve - hiding the profit in outrageous shipping fees!

I find snapfish quite reasonably priced for shipping. But maybe I'm just biased, since everything is high shipped to Alaska. I use them for family snapshots on my wall and for my scrapbooks.

Strangely enough....I used a '50 free prints' offer today (from Snapfish) and ordered 27 prints.

The cost of shipping?

99 pence.

Quite pleased with that. But I'll reserve opinion on the quality till they arrive.

That's really interesting... Maybe they have different rates in the UK... but not sure about Alaska.. I clearly remember ordering a small stack of prints (about 30) and the slowest delivery option was over $10 for Texas...That was last spring, and I have not been back since. Kodak was constantly running free shipping specials at the same time, so their per print cost was a few cents higher, but bottom line was a lot lower per print.
