Print Labs With Web Ordering Gateway???

Hello and Happy Halloween.

I'm in need of some assistance.

I am gearing up to implement an online event photography system that will allow for online ordering from my website. I plan on hosting the photos and implementing a shopping cart system on my site.

I am looking for lab(s) that have an online gateway for orders. Basically... when someone orders a print or other photo product that the lab supports, and checks out using our shopping cart... our program can send the order (and file) automatically to the lab, hands free, via email, or some other online means (ftp etc.).

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've tried searching, but don't know exactly how to phrase the search to get good results. Ideally I'd like a service that offers prints and other photo products (mugs, mousepads, t-shirts, etc.)

I use Zenfolio and they print through MPIX, the photos and cart are actually on there site but I know you can integrade into your own site if you want. I just use a link on my website to direct people there. If you want to see an example you can go to my website www.pictureyouphotography.net and click on client proofing. Smugmug is another one. Check them out. If you decide to subscribe, use the code YAHOO at checkout and receive 50% off any level you choose. That is a nice savings! You can get a year long subscription to the professional level for $74.95. Also check out Digital Grin Photography Forum - Powered by vBulletin That is a forum dedicated to smugmug users and they are very helpful when it comes to setting up your site. You are welcome to look at my website though smugmug. NakiaEnsley's Photos- powered by SmugMug I actually do not have an option for customers to order their own prints on smugmu. I use WHCC to order prints and then I give them to the client. I am seriously considering enabling smugmug's ordering option though simply to make my life easier.

Thanks for the responses... but not exactly what I'm looking for.

MPIX looks promising. But the ROES system resides as
a desktop program from what I can tell. I'm looking for an
online integrated process that automatically sends orders
from my website to the lab.

I have my own merchant account and just want a lab that I can
write some code to send the order info (and file) automatically to a lab.

Most of those types of sites you mention charge you a percentage (or fee)
to provide you with a shopping cart, CC processing, hosting files, etc.

I've got that all taken care of.

Just looking for an automated system to send print orders
to a lab... that charges my account printing and shipping
fees per order.

Any other ideas?

There is currently no such implementation. You either have to sign up for one of the sites that has a fullfilment option or use your own website and do the fullfilment yourself.
