I am honestly going crazy. I have submitted my application 3 times now. Rejected every time. I do not think my images are junk, Maybe I am not critical enough of my own work but the images I submitted are at least close to equal to the images they have hosted on their site for sale by a "pro". I am not knocking the pro they have shooting, his stuff is good. I just feel my stuff is good enough to be able to start selling on their site. anyone a member on this website ? any pointers ? they keep telling me i have to much color noise in my images.... duhh high school football fiends are like a dungeon. sorry, that was kinda rant-ish
Brian if you want you can compare my stuff(fan photos) to the pro at this website Archbishop Mitty Monarchs High School Football Home - MaxPreps bahh. maybe I need to work on stuff more....

the only things i notice is his stuff is "closer"
IE. he fills the frame more. and he has a bit less motion blur than your images. but i must say your stuff is good.

Your pictures look pretty good. It's hard to see motion blur with smaller resolution of the pics.

There's no way to compare your shots to whoever the pro there is. Quality control must always be done at 100% magnification. If you would like to post a link to a full res file we can take a look at it .. see what level of noise your dealing with, camera settings, etc.
but yeah night games are low light situations and if you want to compete on a pro level you need a camera and lens that can handle the job. You'll hear people say it's the photographer that makes the picture not the camera .. yeah those people have never held a D3X in their hands. ... professional gear makes a difference.Where were you trying to submit an application to ? the maxpreps site? |
