Default Anyone have any brilliant advice for Quick books?

The old pen and paper days of my book keeping have got to go away so I buckled up and got me Quick books. Seems rather dawnting.
Does any one use it and how do you decide a work flow?
Do you always have to create an invoice to input a sale?

I use it everyday. I create an invoice for each sale, but you can create and add to one invoice. i just like to keep my invoices separated. You can now set it up to do credit cards, but i opted out, i dont like change,

That helps a lot actually. I've been staring at the screen going oh my this is gonna be a lot of work. Looks like i get to back and enter every item purchased and every sale for the last year. ugh
I wont use it for credit cards. At least not for now. I've been happy so far with Pay Pal

A local community college may offer a QB class. The downside is that a new QB version is released each year, and it's hard to say what version the college would be teaching. Good luck!
