Default Yippee.. another wedding.

well.. we got an invitation to a wedding.
(quite unusual really :P)

my wife jumped on the blower and found out all the goss..
they are going to have a HUGE one
there are 50 ladies at the hens night, 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen..
She said they hadnt found a photographer yet, and didnt have any money left for it anyway.

So.. cue me.
this is only wedding #2 for me AND they are family.. so no charge.
BUT after this its "show me the money"..

so thought i'd just gloat .. and yes i'm nervous.... because when i agreed to do it i didnt know it was going to be that big!

how exciting! You'll have to enlist your family for help practicing. And maybe find someone willing to be your assistant on the big day.

phew.

well thi is turning WAY bigger than i expected..

2 limmos plus 2 cars for the bridal party .
6 brides maids, 6 groomsmen, 1 pageboy (paige?), and 3 flowergirls.
150-200 catered guests.

(starts gasping for breath).. i better pull out all the f-stops for this one!

seeing as i'm doing it for free, i asked if we could sell prints to the guests.
they could pre-order at the wedding and i'd display my other work so they can see i'm not just another camera user.
sadly, she declined as she doesnt want the all guests to have free reign on her photo's.
(oh well) if i had a website option she might have gone for that as she could have chosen who she wanted to have pictures.

the rehersal is in 2 weeks. i'll keep y'all posted

Im sure you will do a great job..just being organised the best you can is the main thing and i try to write down poses or get them to mark them on a list..i know you have experience so remember that each time you learn something that you can use for the next job...good luck and cant wait to see the photos.

ps i had a severe ear infection at the time so you can imagine how i was feeling.
