Default Where to start with Microstock?

I've been looking into Microstock photography as I would like to give it a go, but there are so many agencies out there that I could try and join it's hard to know where to start.

So I'm wondering if anybody could give me some advice on the best agencies to start with?

There's a post on the blog which provides an introduction and pointers to other resources:

Default where to start

mandy,
i had a quick look at your blog and profile and I'm guess guessing you already have a good idea what makes a decent stock image. If that's the case then go ahead and upload some of your best images to the 5 or 6 major microstock agencies (either in the link above or those listed on my site and others like it) and see if they will approve you, if you work is good enough then there should be no problems.
