Jalbum.net (a Swedish site) is one I'm most familiar with. You download Jalbum, a freebie that is basically a photo album creator. You can then download any number of different "skins", i.e., the script that creates the look, function and design of your photo album. some skins are free; some aren't. The free skin "chameleon" includes a basic paypal function which enables customers to order prints directly from you (you will have to do your own fulfillment and shipping) and then allows customers to pay via paypal. With paypal, you can have a basic (free) account that allows bank/wire transfers or a merchant account which accepts debit and credit cards and e-checks (paypal extracts a 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee so you will want to mark-up you prices to cover this extra fee).

Jalbum allows you to publish your photo album to the web in several ways: 1) via your own FTP/web host to integrate with your existing website; 2) via an existing Wordpress blog (Wordpress has a Jalbum widget to facilitate this); and 3) via Jalbum directly - they offer free hosting (up to 30MB) of your photos and you can even customize your URL to coincide with your biz name. Additional storage space is available for a monthly fee.

Alternatively, there is a skin called fotoplayer that integrates with Picasa, flickr and Jalbum. The free version is scaled down and does not include a shopping cart, but for $45 the full version includes a customizable shopping cart which offers more options than does the free chameleon skin mentioned above.

I've been wading through and trying all these but I'm really leaning toward the Ritzpix Pro deal which I posted about earlier. Looks like that'll suit my needs best (the one time price of $79 and no monthly charges.
