Default Where do you purchase your prints to sell?

I am in the process of setting up my photography business. I have been looking at several options for printing photos and fulfilling orders. Where do some of you go for this service? How do you determine the upcharge for prints?

Default guess its a mystery

I was going to ask this question today too! I am photographing my first wedding (for free) and i want them to have great prints. I normally use www.dotphoto.com and have always had great results, but wanted to know if there is somewhere that looks a little more professional if thats possible...
maybe someone will share & it wont stay a secret!!

It sort of depends on how you plan on deciding what gets printed.

If you're going to pick (as far as the printer cares and knows), then any printing service will do the job. I use Perfect Posters for my stuff, and people love how they come out. Yes, it's not the most professional or best looking place I've seen, but they do a good job and my customers never see them.

If you're going to have the customer look through an online catalog and select for themselves what they want to print and pay for it and everything right there without you having to do anything afterwards, that's something I don't have much experience with.

Another one that I've heard good things about is SmugMug.

I get all mine printed from a locally owned and operated place here in my home city. I like the fact that my money goes back into my own community, ya know? Plus I dont' have to pay shipping on anything! LOL! I just drive down the street and pick it up! I'm pretty sure they do orders from all over though. I think they started doing that a couple years ago.

I just printed 3 framed photos and 2 photos on canvas (all fairly large) at imagekind.com. Great service, I'm definitely going to use them again. A friend recommended them to me. They integrate with flickr which is nice.

I've been using Mpix as well and have been very please with the results. I believe their pricing is very competitive too. I am looking into building a website with flash and a shopping cart for customer online ordering options. Thanks for giving me some feedback, learning more everyday!

I have a follow-up question that goes with this topic... of the printing websites mentioned, do any of them print their own logo onto the back of the prints?
