I just did a wedding and had the same problem. No one wants to order re prints from the photos for family, friends etc. If you dont water mark them, then they just copy them from your website or the bride/grooms photos.
Have you thought of other ways to make some extra money. I have done several photo books for the wedding on blurb and sold them to the wedding party. They seemed more interested in that then more photos. What about photo cd with background music?
Good luck because i know how hard it is to get paid.

I have an update for everyone: The bride finally returned my phone call today. She said she was too busy to get back with me, but we arranged a meeting for her to pay for and receive her CDs with 4x6 images on them as was agreed in the contract.

I also told her that I would only have the galleries available through Sept. 1, which is plenty of time for people to purchase whatever they want, including several 8X10s that she wants to order. I just told her that I needed the space online and that those six galleries was taking up a lot of space. She agreed and said she would tell all of her relatives that the galleries would be taken down.

So, I'm going to just keep working with her, and not worry about any other family members. I signed the contract with her, and her parents are giving her the money to get the photos she wants. Pleasing her and the groom is really all that matters.

I am very glad to hear it! Hope everything goes well! Had she noticed that the password was changed?

I'm on a Mac, but I understand there's a way to enable a PC to download images from right-click-protected sites. There are several schemes available to prevent this. One is to place a transparent image over your image so the stolen image is blank. Another is to run a script that chops the image into many small images, so stolen images are only pieces that must be reassembled.

However there is no scheme to prevent screen capture of an image, which is extremely easy on a Mac. Control click on image - select "Save image as..."

all of my images have watermarks, and I'm changing them from my business watermark to PROOF in big annoying letters that run across the page.

If people do screen shots of the pics, will they still appear with the PROOF on it? or is there a way to circumvent that as well?

No, your word PROOF will be in the screen snap also.
