Where are you finding them not protected? I just went to the galleries in the Wedding category and all images that I checked were right click protected? Are you talking about on her blog or her Gallery site?

hmm, I just checked and they are all right click protected (they wouldn't let me right click on them....) in the clients section and the portfolio section.

I need to check that out NOW if you are finding that you can get into them! Which ones are you talking about Southernbelle?

OMG....if that is the case then they may have just ripped me off....but if they took them out of the port section, they only got a few pics that I posted there and not all the ones I actually took. And they are all watermarked with my business stamped across the front of them. Would someone steal pics that had a watermark on them?

I'm just about ready to write this one off and keep stepping! I think I got some good photos for my port from this wedding. That could be all I really get from it. At least they paid the $500 at the wedding.

People will take pictures with a watermark - if they want them badly enough - all they have to do is clone it out...

I dunno what happened, but they are all right click protected now. At least when I was at work, that bubble with my copyright information kept coming up everytime I right clicked on them. But you scared me enough that I changed the password on all the galleries and now no one should be able to access them. I will email them at the end of the month saying I'm taking them all down and I will make it a policy to only keep them up for a certain amount of time.

I didn't mean to scare you. I don't know why it was doing that, but I could have definitely copied any of the images in the wedding portfolio to my comp if I had wanted. I too got the box pop up when I went back. Don't know if it was a momentary glitch or something. I think it is smart of you in this instance to have changed the password and to set a timeline for your galleries. I have no clue what happened when I visited your site, or why they aren't purchasing any of your shots. Good Luck with everything!

When it comes to weddings, I've been fortunate. My only real hassle is when couples break up and try to bully me into getting their retainer back (in signed contract, they agreed that I can keep it if they don't cancel by a certain time)

I must admit though, I can be strict and unyielding. I've had people try to get images from me before paying and I just refuse. Also, I don't upload pics on my site bigger than 500p wide, and on flickr most of my pro pics are only 600p wide.

I am sorry to hear of your problems though. I hope it turns out well for you.
