Default Featured Weddings Section

I was tossing around the idea of making a "featured weddings" section on my website, so prospective clients could get an idea of image quality throughout the day, not just one lucky shot.

Interestingly enough, I have seen a few posts that kinda confirm my thinking.

When I saw the albums, I knew the photographers had only posted "lucky shots" on their sites, and the rest of their photos were terrible quality!

As far as I"m concerned, weddings are a large investment for clients, and I don't want to have to rely on them digging deeper into other areas to see more work. Don't we constantly tell people when designing websites that things should be readily available and even an extra click to find something can piss people off?
In that light, I have roughed out a "featured" section on top of the regular portfolio. It will be accessible from a drop down menu when people mouse over the wedding tab on the home page

I was curious to see what others felt about this idea? Am I giving too much and not leaving anything to the imagination? or does it assist to relieve concerns or at least answer the question of quality (whether that be good, bad or ugly)?

I think it's only a good thing, but then again i'm a proponent of showing as much as possible. I think it's disingenuous to do otherwise.

Featured galleries are popular, for my own part, it's just a case of not being able to be bothered with constantly updating them, as it's a dynamic concept vs a relatively stable portfolio gallery.

It seems like much of my philosophy is based around doing as little work as possible sometimes.

However, I have public access to full galleries for every shoot anyway...
