Like I mentioned in the gear thread I'm finally starting to get the photos edited from my first wedding shoot back in Nov. Here's a couple story boards for the prep and tea ceremony:

Great photos and well done! See? There's nothing to worry about - told you it will be better once you start editing

Those are fantastic! Great to see someone who knows what they are doing pull it all together!
I was at a wedding on Saturday and for the first time in ages I saw a pro at work with a camera. So often (as we see on the forum) brides skimp on photography and I cringe when I see the set-up/ method used. This lady was on the money, you can see she had a plan with almost every shot she took. It looks like you did the same thing... well done! |

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty worried and a little down about it but once i started to edited and see things were ok and your feedback I'm starting to feel better. Still lots to learn but I might just be getting somewhere.
@ bigfuzzy: you're a merciful man! ![]() @ Tzetsin: yeah I was hoping to get to the sooner but I wasnt super happy with the results at first and got discouraged whenever I tried to start editing and also my paying job is crazy busy right now. Oil and gas. It was go go go to get as much on before year end as possible and now anything that didn't make it is rush rush for first thing in the new year. Also went out of town to the Inlaws for a bit and the NYC for 6 days for new years. Awesomes time! ![]() GCT NYC by superduperwesman, on Flickr Last edited by superduperwesman; 01-10-2012 at 06:09 AM. |

Ah, I know the feeling. I'm also in the industry. Working in Rimbey right now. Was actually a little slow for us as most the rigs budgets were blown in Dec, so they were waiting for new budgets before moving the rigs in the new year. Hows the photo ops in Calgary? I've almost got my wife convinced to move to cochrane
