Good luck OP!

I agree! i've seen some bad execusions of the letter idea recently. I've found i really like finding objects that look more 3d and less flat as letters and are obvious objects but obvious shapes as well. just like anything else you can get a cheap looking version or a neater/creative version...all depends on the eye of the artist/photographer i think!

I think this is a really nice idea. I can see how it would be very marketable. Especially since you can personalize the images to the style the client desires. I see some people have seen this before but I can't say that I've ever seen it done with actual photos, just drawings or graphics. It could be that I have seen it but didn't realize it was spelling a name!

Anyway, it's a pretty neat idea!

As was said before, there's a photog in my area who does this. Sells the letters through her website and some events/flea markets etc.

Near Christmas she said she does a really good $.

Yeah i thought it was neat and new to me too.....i think the personalizing to the clients style and family is what makes it a great product for photogs. instead of random letter design like from the website earlier, it is more personalized to fit them.

thanks for your comment

I think it works great as a gift and not only at christmas, for example i've had recent orders for them for gifts for new married couples, and one for an anniversary gift for an older couple. personalizing them with wedding dates make this a great gift for those circumstances i think.

thanks for your comment ; )

I think that's a really cool idea! I've never thought about doing that before. TFS!
