Default Final meeting between couple and photographer

So my first wedding by myself is coming up soon and my final meeting with the couple is even sooner. I just wondered what other photographer cover in this final meeting? I have a good idea of what to ask and to expect to be asked but i just thought if ask in case am forgetting something! If someone could give me a detailed answer on what to address and cover that would be great! I'm terrified of leaving something out by mistake!

That's a very general question you are asking, one that at the end of the day, you are the only one who can answer. Since it's obvious you've had previous meetings before, we don't know what you've discussed already and what you have prepared for already.

At this time, the only questions you should need to ask is if there have been any changes with the wedding that you need to know about and if they have any further requests as far as the shoots. Anything else should have been pre-discussed and planned for at this time.

The only thing that you really need to worry about is ensuring that you have sufficient gears and a good shoot plan for the day. Without these two, then you have high risk of things going all wrong during the day.

Cheers and good luck!

I don't usually have another meeting with them, however I usually have a phone conversation with them about a week or so before the wedding day to clarify:
-their arrival time to the ceremony location
-start time of ceremony
-if I had any ?? beside my notes from our face to face consulation I get the answers to those questions
-I go over my plan / time line for the day as far as what time I will be arriving and I also include, outloud, the names / addresses of the locations just to make sure that all that is correct. I'm not necessarily asking them, but telling them that I know where I'm going so they aren't freaking out the day of wondering if I had the right address, etc. (although it's on the contract)

Then I ask if there is anything new that they've decided to incorporate into their ceremony / day that they wanted to be sure I capture. I also ask them for their family shot list at this time (if they wanted traditional family portraits) - if they don't have it ready, I remind them that all things will go much smoother if they have that ready for the wedding day, and assign someone to be responsible for gathering those people after the ceremony.

That's pretty much it for me!
Good luck!!

I normally ask for 50% deposit. Get everything they want and what you'll provide in a contract, both parties sign and date.
