Default Website review part Deux.

Based upon feedback from the previous request I have made some wording changes, font changes, menu rollovers, added shopping cart, and added pictures and videos of the products in use.

I would appreciate feedback on the site overall and the pics/videos. I did them myself with my G10. I feel like they are "adequate" but not "professional quality". Should I look to redo them with a model and studio or something?

Thanks!

The links into Pay pal appear to be ok.
The videos, and pics of the SharpShooter look ok as well.

What doesn't look ok, on my un-calibrated monitor, are the pics of black coloured hardware on a dark background. The images tend to merge into the background to a varying degree (the cable pics are just fair). The thumbnails at the top of the page look good.

Hope this helps.

Site looks good to me! Easy to navigate, color looks good on my monitor. Only thing I noticed (grammar police here) is at the bottom, I think the "a" in "All content copyright"... needs to be capitalized. Grammar is something I automatically hone in on on websites (I know, I'm weird), and if I see something that's a bit off, I tend to think of it as less professional. Photos look good, can't see the videos on my mac though. Any way you can use a file that will automatically play on mac and pc without having to download plugins?

They are quicktime movies which should play natively on your Mac...they do on mine. You might have content blocked.

Thanks!

It looks ok on my monitor (calibrated), but it might get lost on many others...

Not sure what to do about it as adding a light BG would look "odd" IMO....maybe I should lighten the BG color a little?

Heres my 2 cents worth...I'm on a pc and to lazy to install quicktime, why not upload the videos to youtube and get a little extra exposure, them embed them right on your site??

I agree with Richard on this. I'm on a calibrated new imac and I have to squint and move just to try and look at the pictures. The background is either too dark or the actual products were shot too dark.

I know that it's hard to make dark objects appear "nice and shiny" on photos/websites, but if you are selling products, you have to make it look appealing. "Shiny" but don't take that too literally What I meant is to make sure that people can really see the details of the products and make them want it visually.

The descriptions are ok. Not a fan of the non-bulleted bullet point descriptions on every page. It feels all to lazy or unfriendly. Imagine if you are trying to sell the products face-to-face with someone and you are just giving one-sentence descriptions. You have to imagine yourself as a sales person, unfortunately, and pitch for the products a little better. I know you would rather describe the products without sounding like a sleazy car salesman and that's highly appreciated, but you can phrase or lay out the wording a little better without looking all so straight to the point, "Here's the product, it does this, now buy it."

I hope that makes sense and helps

I'd suggest adjusting lineheight in your css for the paragraphs on the front page from 12 to 14
