Default FAQ Topic for Earning with Photography?

I've seen the same questions over and over, why not have a a sticky topic of FAQs? That would make things much more cleaner and efficient.

I think that's a great idea. We nominate you to gather the relevant data, fact check it, and collect it into one coherent thread. If you could have this to us by the end of business Friday that would be great. Thanks.

come on... serious guys, just pick the most common questions like "What to charge?" a simple link to Mark Wallace's video is good enough as an answer. Printing resources like VistaPrint, Mpix, Adoramapix, etc... or other services as well like model recruitment sites, portfolio sites, etc..

It sounds like you know what you need to do.

You do it since you want/need it so badly.

The problem I see with it is what sources do we use?
Who picks them?
Who says what is a "good" source vs. a "bad" source?
If it's kept as an open thread it'll be flooded with a bunch of useless discussion as opposed to it simply being a collection of relevant info.

Having said that. I DO like the idea. It's be something easy for all of us who are tired of the same old questions to say "go to this thread for some answers and come back if you have new questions"...

However, I also don't want to see a half-asses thread stickied that no one updates or cleans up.

Maybe I'll create a trial run thread and we can see how it goes.. let me think on it and see if I'm allowed to.

If only there was some sort of tool where you could type in a word and find the specific information you're looking for, anywhere on the internet. It could even give you like a list of websites that might be relevant, and you could read through a variety of them to get different opinions.

Then there could be a place where you go and ask people specific questions on things you could not find after doing a good deal of this "searching".

or maybe someone could write a book

Some day...
