Hmmmmm, except for the fact that a "one size fits all" doesn't necessarily work. The Adorama information is fine (I use very similar methods myself) but as he says himself, it is not for everyone and does not work for everyone. Lists of resources are fine, if you are gearing them to a single area or country. However, this is the interwebbythingymabob and it is international. What might be good for you in MiddleofNowhereville, Backwoods USA will not be much good for someone living in Ontopofoldsmokey, Thebackofbeyond, NZ. So the list would potentially be very long indeed. Having people come on here and ask questions is best for all concerned really (at least imo - which let's face it, is the only one which counts ). It (hopefully) gives the person asking the question the information they require and, because these questions often lead to discussions of other things, it can also help people who are just reading through but not actually looking for specific information. There is a search facility - which no one on any forum every uses anyway from what I can see - if people don't want to get involved in discussions or don't want to put up with the sarky comments from the like of me and others

Chris you LOVE that video, huh? I've seen you link to it about 10 times now. It's clever, and has "cool" graphics, but it is by no means the be-all-end-all method of setting rates, especially for media/photojournalist photographers.
Here is what our FAQ should say. Google it. Google it again. Ask your question here if you still can't find it. That's it. |
