Default How to price this?

Hi, everybody! I need urgent help with a question on pricing.

A blog writer wants me to write and shoot for him. Articles of 250-350 words, plus two or three photos. This will be an on-going basis, and we need to agree on a per article price.

I have no idea what to charge. The photos will be 500 px, and non-exclusive usage just for the blog.

We're hoping to work it up to be a full-time position.

This is my dream job! But I have no idea what to charge. Any ideas out there?

Thanks!

- I never experienced what you are, but I should be able to answer it with my experiences in business and marketing, and reading other photography business faqs. -

after that you should understand a little bit or a lot more on how to charge, but for writing its best to ask writers or completely ignore it and concentrate on the photography. It depends on your skills in writing vs. photography and how your potential client values one or the other. As for photos it would depend if client is asking you to photograph specific photos or already photographed photos you've shot... if you've already photographed them then that would fall into what stock photography pricing models which could be very cheap for non-exclusive licenses, as for exclusive then that could be very expensive to the client, and same goes for if they're asking for a specific photography you have not shot yet...
