Default Hotel photography pricing

HI everyone,
I've been asked by a hotel to take shots of their lobby, bar, bedrooms, pool, restaurant, front desk, lounge.
I never did this kind of work before and they asked me to put a quote together, they said that I can go for a hourly rate or rate per photo.
Does anyone have any tips on pricing or what kind of rates are applied in your area? (BTW, I live in Sydney).

Thanks in advance for your help

I go with hourly rates.

Start off by working out what your costs are. Petrol? Postage and Packaging? Insurance? Wear and Tear on your Equipment?

Then decide how much an hour's time of your work is worth and how many hours this commission will take (including travel, editing, admin etc). Multiply these two together.

Add your costs to your hourly rate.

This is your commission fee.

For your client's purposes divide this by the number of hours you will actually spend at the hotel, and give this to your client as the hourly rate. If you included the back-office hours in the rate you gave the client they would most certainly dispute it because most clients don't realise that there is more to photography than just turning up and taking the photos.

Thanks a lot for your input.
I wrote down all my costs (travel, equipment hire, insurance, equipment depreciation, etc...) and what I think my hourly rate is worth.
I actually got in touch with them this morning and they agreed to go for an hourly rate.
Fortunately they are aware that there will be some post processing work. I think I am quite lucky that the marketing manager loves photography and understands all of this.

Thanks again for your help, much appreciate it.
