Default Can anyone help me think of a snappy tag-line.

I use these tag-lines at the top of my promotional flyers, they're all the same basic design but with varying colours, photos and text.

The tag-line I use for my retail and general commercial flyer is 'Photos that make your business look the bees-knees' and for my hospitality flyer it reads 'Five star hospitality deserves five star photography'.

But I'm having difficulty thinking of a tag-line for a flyer to send to graphic and web designers. It should have the word 'Photography' or 'Photos' or variants thereof in and I also think it should have the word 'design' in it. The examples above are pretty much at the maximum length the tag-line can be. It also has to be attention grabbing, it will appear in bold text in a single colour block at the top of the flyer.

I've tried things like 'Photos for your grandest designs' but I'm not happy with these ideas. I think the problem I have with that one is that not all designs are grand. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks for any help.

I thought of one while out walking today... I think I'm gonna go with 'Photos that leap from the page'

I would go with "I'll flash you for cheap" or "I love to shoot children".

But then again, my marketting instructor in college said to stay away from taglines and slogans. Your business structure, pricing, and portfolio should define you and convey your message, not some cheesy tagline.

In a perfect world clients wouldn't be influenced by taglines and that other marketing guff, they would look at the details that really matter and make an informed decision. But this isn't a perfect world, in any case is it so bad that to sell your product you first have to attract attention? Not all taglines are cheesy anyway. Did your marketing instructor mention AIDA?

attract Attention
arouse Interest
stimulate Desire
call for Action

Words attract attention, these are more like titles for the flyer than cheesy slogans. The text needs to start with something in a bigger font that succinctly sums up what the rest of the text is about, or else it looks clumsy on the page, the textual equivalent of a photograph with no focal point to draw the eye in and no starting point to lead the reader on to the rest of the text.

We may operate in different environments though, I know the people I'm sending these flyers to will be very design savvy and will be more critical of things like that.

"Realise the image"
"Making ideas real"
"The link from ideas to images"
"Professional design needs professional photography"

these are good thanks... I've already sent it to print though. I like the 'link from ideas to images'.
