I have a question when you process photos to put on the web, either on your site or to give to someone, do you process them so they look good on a calibrate screen or un-calibrated screen. The reason I ask is I generally process all my pics on a calibrated screen but then hubby pulls them up on his monitor and they look totally different. Since a lot of people(not photographers) will be viewing them on uncalibrated screens should I process them so they look good on that?

No. Uncalibrated screens, by the very definition of the word 'calibrate' are all different. You process a photo to look right on your husband's monitor and it will still look different on everyone else's. Even calibrated screens are different depending on what you calibrate them with, usually printing processes. This is just one of the perpetual problems of digital photography that can't be solved unless we somehow get everyone in the world to calibrate their screens to a universal standard.

Ok I was just wondering, I have a monitor I can use with my laptop but it is not calibrated yet, The pics print out great the way they look on my screen so guess I will just stick with that.
