Portfolio Services... anyone here does it?

Just need some tips, and no it's likely we're not in the same regional market area so I don't access to your potential market -don't be afraid on giving me tips.

When I say "Portfolio Services" I mean fulfilling a person’s portfolio with my photography, such as model portfolios, actor portfolios (headshots), performer, makeup, hair stylists, etc...

I was thinking of printing some postcards and flyers and posting them around areas where young 18-25 (for now that my age market) people (especially females) hangout. And handing them out at either areas where they hang like bars, clubs, house parties, etc. wherever I'm allowed that my market is mostly at. Do you guys think this is a good way to start for this specific service I'm providing?


And I know, many people won't spend on portfolios because just about anyone can get them for free, but if I somehow educate them slightly that if they get it for free from let's say Model Mayhem its likely they'll work with someone less or no experience than myself who has experience and have a good number of photos to show.
