Watermark Signature for clients flyers

I have been shooting a lot of portraits lately. Just shot a two piece hip hop/DJ group and am about to send photos for them to print on their flyers. Should I be watermarking these images? Would be great exposure but don't want to step on toes.

I would suspect they wouldn't want your name plastered all over the images, especially if they're paying you for the photos. Are they buying the images from you, or is this a freebe? If it's a free job, I suppose a somewhat small and simple watermark could be OK, preferably placed in a lower corner. You'll need to talk with them about it, but hell, if you did it for free, they're really not dealing from a position of strength. At a minimum, you can ask them to acknowledge you as the photographer somewhere in the flyer
