Default Sold my FIRST piece of framed art today!

I am thrilled. This piece "Budville" went to a family friend for $60.

Which is almost what I would make from a gallery sale seeing that they get about 40%. Ok maybe it is a bit more shy than that. But who cares!!! I got a sale on a completed piece and have been commissioned to dig through my route 66 body of work to find 2 more frames to make a set.

This is not the first time I have made money with my photography, but it is the first time I have made money from art. Now I must make sure that my prices maintain the original $125 a print framed. Meanwhile this guy is good for word of mouth in multiple social circles. He promised to keep our deal under the hat.

Very nice. I had to look up "Coon Valley" -- I grew up in Oshkosh, but I'd never heard of Coon Valley!

CONGRATS!

That is a sweet image. . . . . . gave me the urge to head to Budville when I saw it. I'm about 4-5 hours from there.

I was raised in Waukesha and I had never heard of it either until I moved here
