Default web template

I Can't choose a website template!!

I'm sure this topic has come up before but i cant seem to find it anywhere (if anyone could direct me to somewhere on this site that would be appreciated).

Looking to branch out from just having facebook and trying to find a good template, so thought you very experienced, good looking, intelligent people will know where to look.

Just after something simple, preferably white background, no music, no flash, a couple of tabs (weddings, portraits, contact, about us)

Help please

Cheers

What will your website be?
Flash?
Wordpress?
Joomla?
HTML?
Etc etc etc..
A little more info pls.
themeforest.com is a good start, it's where I got mine which I later customized.

Go for a prophoto blog template. You will need a hosting account and wordpress installed on your server. Easy to use, personalise, great sustomer support and help and way more than just a blog.

The blogs can act more like a template these days, you can add extra pages to the blog for information. They have sample sites to look so you can see how to use them.

ProPhoto Blogs High-end blogs, low-end price

This is a good resource for web templates that will even keep the code writers happy.

Lots to choose from. I am gutting my site soon and this is what I will be using.

I use their ProPhoto3 WordPress theme on my site and I love it. Super flexible and works great with the W3C caching plugin. Well worth the price in my opinion.

Wordpress has tons of free and pay templates. Wordpress.com will even host it for free ( with some space limits). But please, get a real url and not a .wordpress.com one.

If your objective is to have a website for hosting your photos, you may wish to consider signing up with a commercial site. I started working on setting up my own website and was getting frustrated trying to get it looking professional and I was spending way too much time on it. I then discovered that I could use a commercial site for only $25-30. bucks per year for hosting my photos. You might want to check out sites like smugmug.com or phanfare.com. I ended up going with phanfare, as I liked the simplicity of the navigation on the site, as well as the clean look.
