Default postwork

I use exposuremanager.com. My clients go into the site, choose what package and size. exposuremanager does all the printing and mailing. Clients pay with the use of credit card. I get a check minus printing and shipping fees at the end of the month. "Life is good!"

Unhappy RE: A Quick Guide on Where To Sell Photographs Online

I haven't tried very many online services, the only place I've tried is www.snapvillage.com. Haven't earned any money out of it yet.

Default Photo Shelter

I used with be with Digital Railroad, now I'm with Photo Shelter. They seem to be pretty good so far. But like most stock selling agencies, all the really good picture stock agencies are being slowly being swallowed by the free rights market.

Default red bubble question

I just downloaded a couple of photos onto redbubble and, despite the photos being portrait, they are now shown landscape. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix that? I shoot a large number of portrait shots.

I also have a RedBubble acct...easy, easy to use, upload is quick. There is a great support staff, many, many groups to join to advertise you shots. I have purchased a laminated print and calendar from myself to check quality, very nice indeed. Check it out, it's FREE! http://www.redbubble.com

I have been a member of RB since Feb this year, not sure what you mean...landscape? Please explain or give me a link to your portfolio so I can look.

Default Selling in UK - photobox

I'm thinking of putting my dancesport photos on http://galleries.photobox.co.uk/ It's currently in beta, but it looks good. It lets you set the price per photo size, and they take a percentage (10%, I think) of your profits.

Have you checked SmugMug out? They'll let you set your prices and make 85% of the markup.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rolii. I took another look at smugmug, and it seems to be a US based printing solution. That would mean my customers seeing prices in US$, paying high P&P costs, perhaps unexpectedly having to pay VAT on imported photos. A UK solution, even given is current beta status, seems much more suitable.

For reference, I did a google search for "smugmug for uk" and found this list of UK smugmug accounts: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...1&changemode=1.

So far I've been doing quite alright with Zazzle.
You can make all kinds of products there.

Fotolia is ok as well. I have a tad of a problem to get new shots in lately though.

I sold a few cards on Greeting Card Universe, but their servers or programming are a killer for my slow Internet. Can't work on there to make new stuff, cause it's too slow for me.

Redbubble is a success for quite a few of my artsy friends, not for me yet though

I might give QOOP a try in the near future.

Also Blurb and LuLu for picture books, but all in it's own time.

I had a pro account at SmugMug for a while. I loved the Site but had no Sales.
