Someone told me that my photos "had money written all over them", but I don't know how to go about selling them. Any ideas for a beginner like me?

I have a smugmug standard account, but there's lots of support for people like you over there. Why not check it out? You could try it for free for 14 days and then if you decide to stay they'll knock 5 bucks off your 1st year subscription if you follow this link.

Nice spamming of your referral link - You'll get the first year half-off if you use the code flickr when you sign up though.

I haven't actually signed up for this service yet but it looks pretty sweet to me. I've used them for framing a few times now and the great part of this site is you can pick a few framing options and they'll sell it as a complete package. Then YOU decide what you want to make and they'll tack on their cost after that. This isn't a shameless plug as I haven't actually tried it yet, I don't think I have much that the general public would be interested in... yet. Check it out if you'd like.

Default Selling from Overseas

Great thread and very useful links. Does anybody know what's the best way to sell images from other countries? With that I mean that I want to sell images from Japan in the U.S., or Europe. Is this possible with Zenfolio, or the other links mentioned in the first post?

Sorry for the newbie question. I'm still new to selling images. Thanks for your patience.

Why do people like smugmug? I'm just uploading some photos now, and it seems so complicated to me! Can people actually buy your photos off this site?

Go here for help on uploading photos to Smugmug. You will also notice that on top of every photo found on Smugmug there's a "buy this photo" button.
