Default Zenfolio Users - Help!

Hey guys, quick question for all you Zenfolio users out there. I'm having trouble getting an access code to work when I'm NOT signed in to try and test the gallery for clients. When I'm signed in and use the access code to get to the client gallery, it works fine. But when I sign out to test, it says "Sorry this code was not recognized".

FYI, I'm currently on my 14 day trial period, so maybe that's the reason? Help! Thanks

I haven't used the access code feature, but I believe if you visit the URL myname.zenfolio.com/access-code it should bring you to that gallery, so I would try that first to make sure the permissions are set correctly. All galleries are set to Private by default, so you need to make it Public even if it isn't linked from anywhere, in order to see it when you're signed out. If you still have trouble, contact Zenfolio at support@zenfolio.com - they are normally super-quick to respond.

Good luck! If you do decide to sign up, my referral code will save you a few bucks: DUQ-C5J-MB8

Hi Julie, thanks for the input. I just tried that and it tells me "Sorry, the page you were looking for cannot be found."

So I'm going to upgrade to the full version tonight. I emailed the support email, I guess I'll wait to see what they say. Thanks!

When you create the access code for the gallery, it should give you two URLs, one for the gallery and one for the slideshow. They automatically change as you type in the code. If you have that set, then more than likely your gallery is marked as private and only you can access it. Go down to the "access control" area, click edit and change that to either public, which will allow anyone with the URL to access the gallery, or "locked with password" which shows a login screen when anyone other than you tries to access the gallery.
