Default Any tips for selling photos offline?

So there are some excellent tips and insight into selling your images online, but I was wondering whether selling them offline in art fairs, markets, local stores etc. is a viable option?

Does anyone get any success this way? have you any tips or advice you could share?

Some good info in the links Krusty gave.

I would just add, don't think this is a way to get rich.
Look at it as a marketing tool rather than (or as much as) a way to make an income.

Great point, i dont think any one makes any real money at fairs etc. some people do alright at big fairs in touristy places, but with the outlay i am not sure that it is worth it.

IT's difficult to roam around and find buyers. It's better if they buyers and sellers meet at the same place like a forum . And then price the effort.
