Looks pretty good but the alternating right align/left align is just a little disconcerting. Perhaps all left aligned and move your logo/emblem to the right? ... just an opinion PS the font is nice, what is it?

not a fan of the font i'm sorry.
It looks like it has a dropshadow/bevel on it which hurts the eyes.

I also don't like the gradient from black to white.

Logo seems very complicated to me.

It needs to be simplified alot,
keep the background one colour, and make your name and number smaller.
a bit of negative space never hurt anybody.

Unbalanced: as mentioned, the left and right margins arent even and it looks odd.

Hard to read: the text is in a rough font, and the logo is light colours on a light/white area. Very hard to see.

There's no visual hierarchy. There's no sense of where I should start, what has emphasis, etc. Ideally on a business card you want your name as the largest, then your organization (the company) then the contact into in different sizes. The logo should also be larger, as the current one is far too small.

Not being about to read neon green on black is what made me go and get glasses :P (teletext).
For me, it reminds me of grass which makes me think you might be a gardiner :P
This is a great book for designing things like cards, leaflets, invoices etc:

If you don't like neon green on black, you're going to hate the web pages I have under construction....

Thanks for the tip.

Oh I like it, I just can't read it as it all "glows" :P
Infact my first ever webpage that I wrote back in the 90's (geocities) was black with bright green text and purple sides. Had a load of animated gifs too like these awesome spinning skulls :P

Two thoughts from me, which I don't see above:

1. It says "Valley Photography" twice, on the logo and in the main text (three times if you count the URL). Given that space is at a premium, I think that is too much duplication.

2. Why not use a photo backdrop? The gradient looks very artificial. A good photo would look more natural and serve to showcase your photographic skills.
