Hey guys,
I'm trying to put together some print packages with smugmug and the print service is asking for what type of paper. What type do you recommend for portraits and event's? Choices are Lustre, Glossy, Metallic Thanks R.

Thanks OS.
Let me ask you something else, how much over cost do you guys charge, if it's private you can PM me? I asked this on a different thread I just started. Also, when putting together packages, what size prints and how many of each do you include in them? I'm just getting started as a side business, so any help will be appreciated. R.

I heard metallic is good for sports also. Just avoid glossy.

rickp1: It really depends on the client. For portrait work I usually go the CD route (a handful of images, edited, large enough for 8x10s on a CD). For gallery images (ie my personal art work) its usually piece work, so it's one at a time and no smaller than 16x20. These are done simply by price:
(Cost of printing x 2) + creative + delivery.

Yes I do agree with @Krusty79 that, metallic is good for sports!
