What file settings would you use to sell a "4x6 sized file" to a client?
I thought 100 pixels = 1 inch, but if I upload a 600px file to the lab they say the size isn't sufficient for a 4x6 (even though if I print it anyway it seems to be). Also if the quality is set any higher than 3 or 4, the client could just enlarge the image themselves and print larger pictures... but if the quality is that low would it affect a 4x6 print? And what about the DPI!

1200x1800 = 4x6 print @ 300 dpi
1000x1500 = 4x6 print @ 250 dpi etc etc It just depends what dpi you want to print. I print everything @ 300. Here's a good primer on resolution you should look at: Understanding DPI and Image Resizing |

I have a question about selling 6x4 prints if you don't mind me encrouching on your thread :P
Selling 6x4 Prints - is it worth it anymore? Are people tending towards 5x7?
