Oops, that's supposed to be my card. I'm about to order business cards and this is what I came up with. I'm planning on using Moo and having some photos printed on the back.
![]() I'm looking for comments. Thanks

Okay, I am going to be totally honest with you. I hope you have thick skin!
![]() My first thought was "ack, what a horrid color combination!". The green just doesn't work. Lime green and rust/maroon is a huge no-no. I'm also going to say, the photo is pretty boring. It doesn't stand out to me. It doesn't inspire me to pick up your business card, contact you, and then pay you for your photos. Your card needs to prove to the potential client that you can make amazing images for them (and combine colors well! ). The current photo just won't convince the viewer that you are the one to choose. While I being honest with you, I might as well tell you that the font is kind of... meh. It says "crappy brass shined up to pass as gold". It is just sort of boring... Well, there's my 2 cents. Haha, more like 87 cents, eh?

You've got too much going on. The image, the text, the bevel/emboss, the drop shadow, the colours, etc.
If you're going to use an image, the text has to be simple. If you want to make the typography a focal point, then the background can't be too busy. In any case, the copy should be legible: while your font works for certain things, this isn't one of them.
