Default Booked my first weddings for July

Hi there, For the last 6 months I have learned everything I can about photography. I have booked three wedding for this summer and am spending the next 5 months practicing and learning. I have 2nd shot 5 weddings so far and hopefully more before I do it on my own! My question I guess is if you can take a look at my blog and website and give me a critique on what I need to work on. I would really appreciate it!

I wrote a huge post and it turned to crap and died.

Welcome to the forum.

Your images re wondefull, my only comment is get closer in on the rings shot.

Second shooting is great fun, but the problem is the "hard stuff" is actually in the first shooting.
the hard stuff being:
keeping the emotional fun-ball rolling and the ideas for poses flowing.
directing and communicating with groups.
keeping to a time schedule and fulfilling the couples random requests whilst dealing with delays because of other vendors.

i see you've done some couples/engagement work too, that's a good place to start.

I think your photos look great! Am not a 'pro' but I look at A LOT of photos just to learn. I want to go into wedding photography as well. Also trying to find a photographer to be second shooter. I think you are ready to go
What camera/lenses you use, by the way?

Your work is beautiful. Just wondering are the vows photos in BW for style choice or to remove W/B issues and noise?

I shoot with a 5d Markii and use a 50 1.4 and 85 1.8 mostly.

The conversions are black and white because I totally blew out the dress! Something I really need to work on!!

Hi Toni!

You've done a wonderful job with your website and the images are beautiful! There's not much else to critic on as I think you've done a phenomenal job! I love your choice of color theme - white, silver and turquoise. Simple and elegant!
