I think it's clever, I used to try the same thing but my name doesn't lend itself to it so well...
There are millions of fonts out there so I might wonder if there's a better one for the job too, but you could spend weeks trying them all out. ^^ The border is a bit bland to me though, not sure if that's staying.?.?

Hi Roy
I would simplify. Remove the border, use the same typeface for the h as you have used for the r (capitalize both) and squeeze up the space between the 'O' and 'TOG' You will have a much tighter, self contained logo then. |

From a creative standpoint, it works, though that font is less than ideal. Something without the serifs would be better.
From a technical standpoint, however, there are some issues. Your kerning (space between letters) needs some work. Much of that will be fixed with a font change though.

Hi
I dont think it works. It is hard to read, i took me a while to figure out what it said, and i dont think the two fonts mesh well. It is a good concept, perhaps you could try stacking each word on top of each other and use the tall R, like you alreaddy have, just extended through. Graphic design is my other job, so sorry if i sounded harsh, no offense intended. HTH |

Hi, i would think about how the logo works as awatermark in the image and it should be easy to read so people now who to contact if they like the image.
