Default Master Plan MuhahahahaaMUHahahahah!

After being on this board (and a couple others) I now realize how I'm gonna to get rich. Super duper rich.

Forget mastering anything.
Forget strobist.
Forget weddings etc..

I see now that it seems that 95% of all people posting here (particularly for advice) are new female photographers with kids. Not saying that's bad in any way, it just is (it seems).

So, now I just need to create a seminar/book/dvd titled "How to photograph your child and make it cuuuuute for the busy working/stay at home mom who doesn't have a lot of kit".
I'm telling you, I'd be rich in one year.

Good thing I changed the "How to shoot your child..." bit.

Who's in with me?!

Off to get my sack with which I will carry my money around.

I'd buy "How to shoot other people's kids" if it included separate chapters for archery, handguns, rifles, shotguns, and other improvised projectile launchers (trebuchets, catapults, railguns, RPGs).

Not to mention it's a potential whole new pool of women to date!

"Hello ladies, I'm gonna teach you how to make your baby the prettiest/handsomest on the block.... first, pay me my 1000Euros and you need to take off your......." um, on that note, time to hit the rack.

We are called MWAC's. - LOL (Moms with a Camera) - I think its GREAT cuz they/we have a subject to practice on - even tho one (meaning me! LOL) can tire of seeing the same face over and over again.

What annoys me is people going into business illegally. I think its also OK that the market is "saturated" with beginners who think all you do is put the camera in auto and it will do do everything for you - blame Nikon and Ashton Kutcher. But when in Rome..LOL many photogs are offereing mentoring sessions - basically show them how much they do NOT know! So yes, you will make a MINT. But like any business, they will have to find you so, you would have to be good at business

The first thing to starting a successful business is a good business plan. You have a good start on that. Secondly, you need to put a face on that business. That one, well......you need to work on that one a bit. I mean, the tie helps & all but you need to lose the clown mask. That'll scare the hell out of the kids. Remember this dude?

Given that 70% of American women have careers and other western women are right behind them, where are all of these housewives? I haven’t met one in years either in Europe, Asia or N. America. If they are housewives, they are probably married, have little money because they are not working and are not open to dating terrorist hunters—unless of course they have a certain fantasy.

Wealthy women hire photographers, so they wouldn’t be in the market for do-it-yourself.

The women of the third world typically all work (while their men hang cool) and often have little money to purchase food, much less such a book and a camera.

Perhaps, given your experience terrorist hunting, you should consider a book for terrorists and their offspring and/or mentees? They seem to really be into their 15 minutes of fame. Why should YouTube get all the perks? No doubt the jihadis would love tips on how to make the young mujahid look his or her best in the prior-to-suicide-bombing shot? Maybe even a chapter on how to set up a shot with the Paradise reward of 72 dark-eyed-virgins with translucent skin? Your Photoshop skills would definitely come in handy.

Stellar idea! http://media.funlol.com/content/img/0363.jpg

Raising my hand...housewife here. Have been for almost 8 years. Although I prefer the term Domestic Goddess. I have at least 20 friends/aquantences who are also housewives. We are out there. May not have a paid career but I work my butt off, I can promise you that much.

Wow! An endangered "species." Let me touch the hem of your garment. It is definitely very hard work, that is why I chose a career—with a family of course. Everybody does their share and I got to fly.

These days, I do know a few house-husbands though. What a great thing to come home to a clean home, warm dinner with the kids fed and in bed.

Seriously, today the majority of women in the U. S. have full-time jobs outside the home. Besides, they myth of housewifery is a relic of the post war period. Prior to that era poor women always worked beside their men on the farm, in the shops, etc. Wealthy women ran estates and were pawns in marriage.

So, are you up for the book on making your kids look cute?
