Does anyone on here make any money from selling fine art prints of their work or is all photographic income based on studio and on location work?
Just curious.

I've not sold any of mine, but I would like to, However my little bitty town wouldn't be the ideal place to sell. I would probably end up looking to do that online in the future.

I sell at shows and have been in small local galleries. I do all my own printing and matting. I run in size from post cards to 13"x19" matted and framed prints.

There's a local art show in my area. It's 15$ a year to join the group, and once a month they have a public event, where you can show your arts and crafts. I'm thinking of trying it out. If I sell one print at $20 it would pay for itself. All cash business, too!

I've sold prints as well. I don't actually do any studio/location work, so that's the only way I'm selling anything

People who make money from photography are those who take the most boring pictures (houses for sale, cars ect..) Or if you have a monkey or a parrot and picture kids at the park. (just kidding about the monkey or parrot wild animals should be in nature!)

From my experience at my last job working for a digital printing company, the vast majority of the checks we sent out were to the photographers who shot weddings, portraits and sports. I like landscapes myself, but the market is a lot smaller.

Not really. People who make money from photography also take photos of bands, celebrities, for projects, photography for films, photojournalism etc etc etc, which inherently are a lot less boring than houses and cars.
