I want to get some advertising material made up. I've seen loads of people using wooden montage boards tacked onto black canvas stands. My question is, what are these called and does anyone know what I should be looking for/asking for and where?
This kind of thing: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_nON7OpQpKSc/Sw...jpg?imgmax=800 Printed on a board which can then be attached to a solid wooden board (6ftx2ft example), the board would be covered in black canvas like material. The legs would be like an inverted "T" on each side. I can't find a bastard thing on the internet but I want something like: http://www.acquainters.com.pk/images...%20stand-2.jpg - but built differently. Any ideas? Ok imagine this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NOBO-6-Panel-E...item4cf132307f Split that into 3 and make them all black. I want to do it this way as I believe it will be cheaper to update/change the pictures

Have you tried searching 'small exhibition stands'?
I think the sort of stuff you are looking for should be there? Apologies if not as that means I am no help whatsoever!

Sounds like you're talking about this kind of thing - http://www.getkazood.com/product/Tension-Banners/2
It's reasonably easy to get new rolls printed up to fit in them when you want to update your images/information. Personally, my local branch of Prontaprint do great A1-sized posters to my own design on 3mm foamcore - their quality is excellent, and because I use them regularly for various things, their service is just as good.
