Default Anyone shown their work in a Gallery?Advice needed

I"m going to have my work shown in a gallery for the the first time and am a newb to the scene.Any suggestions are deeply appreciated.
A gallery in town(very nice) helps the areas artists by giving us a chance to get exposure etc. so I got lucky and had 3 photos picked for show as there are other photographers involved>I recieved the contract and have 3 16x20 spots.
What type of frames do you generally use and type of glass?
Is it uncommon to use giclee/canvas if not how do u frame it and or does it look plain without some sort of frame.
I was looking into giclee prints on paper or do you suggest not using the bumpy type paper.
I really just want photos to look the best as I have an online buisness that I may be able to promote somehow during all of this.(Link is a couple lines down with Photos in Gallery showing)browse around if you have time, and im not trying to promote my buisness here,I need help and the pics are at the link
Thanks so much.and Have a safe and happy holidays!,Chris

I have some of my stuff up around town, what I've found/been told is that the current "in thing" is square-ish frames with dark borders and masses of white space on the mount:

The best thing you can do is ask the gallery if they have any preference.
Often they will have specific requirements as regards size of frame and type of glass.

When I have displayed previously they have been fairly large mattes, frames have been a plain black with shatterproof glass.
The idea is to display the image not the frame so plain (silver or black) always works best

Ok got it.I will ask the lady at the gallery,I was thinking of that too and wanted your inputs as well to shine more light on the matter.Thank you.Still not sure about paper type though,I bought a 11x14 from a place that was labeled fine art prints and the papeer looks really thin I mounted on foam core and paper is bumpy also.It has no sheen whatsoever but the colors arent too bad.so I took it to a small print shop and the guy diddnt know what it was and said it looked like watercolor paper, like something one would use to photograph a painting and print on.
I payed 50 bucks for it.Just the print on the backer board stuff. So I guess ill try adorama and see what they offer too. After all these test prints ill have a better knowledge about paper but a hole in my account..sheesh..thanks all.

That's what I did when my work was displayed in a gallery as well.
